17 months old!

Another month has flown by.  We have a little dude who is definitely a little toddler now, a destructive tornado of a little boy.
— Ever since he had tubes put in his ears last month…he can finally hear again and is talking up a storm!  I can’t even list all the words he is saying…because he is finally talking..a lot!  He is one opinionated little dude, he isn’t shy on saying “no!”.
— He is pushing the limits and boundaries…he knows right from wrong…but that doesn’t stop him.
— He LOVES to sing and dance.  He has a great little booty shake and even sings the words of some of the songs!  He can sing a few words to Beyoncé “All the Single Ladies” and Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk”.  He can hum the tune and sing a bit of the ABCs, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and Twinkle Little Star.
— He is walking down the stairs now.  He completely skipped the belly slide and went straight to walking.  I was in shock.  Payton saw him first and said “Oh my gosh Mom!  Look at Miles!  He is WALKING down the stairs like a big person! Good job little chubber!”.
— He is now a rock star at eating with a spoon!  Sometimes he still prefers to use his hand as a shovel, but at least I know he can use a spoon.  He still HATES veggies unless they are pureed and mixed with fruit.  He currently loves: yogurt, mandarin oranges, bananas, raisins, popcorn, Peanut Butter Lara Bars, chicken nuggets, and humus.
— Found out the hard way that bubbles in the bath…scare him to death!  Poor guy.
— I can no longer get out the water table without him thinking it’s his personal pool to climb in and play.  Turn my back for 3 seconds to put away the hose and in he goes, fully clothed.  Every single time.

About JulesJ

We have grown from a family of three to four! I am a full time wife and Mommy, and a part time Registered Nurse in a busy Medical Cardiac ICU. My hubby works at Microsoft...that is what brought us to Seattle. We have the most adorable little girl...born October of 2011. Plus we have a new little bundle of joy in our life, our little prince was born February of 2014. We live in Issaquah, WA, about 20 minutes east of Seattle...though we are true Texans at heart. I am just trying to capture those every day moments so we will have memories to last a lifetime.
