Our little guy is 9 months old…I can’t believe we are 3/4 of the way through his first year! He is for the most part, a super fun, mellow, and happy baby, just a bit of separation anxiety kicking in…especially at the Doctor’s office yesterday. Walk into the room and instant tears. Was clinging onto my neck so tight that I let go of him and he was just hanging there…broke my heart. So what’s it looking like at 9 months?
–Height: 30 inches (97%), Weight: 23 pounds 5 ounces (95%).
–4 teeth! 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom…with 4 more at the gum trying to break though!
–He HATES his car seat. As soon as we get to the car door he clings to my neck and won’t let go.
–He laughs hysterically at his big Sissy. They are already best buds and chase each other around with non-stop squeals of laughter…it’s my favorite part of the day.
–He claps! And taps! And shakes his little booty to music!
–He is STRONG! Strongest baby ever. And SO fast. He tears apart toys, dumps out buckets of toys until not one piece remains inside, climbs up several flights of stairs, and the best part is his war cry…we know he is about to conquer the stairs by the roar he lets out on his way over.
–He is still pulling up and cruising on everything. Everything.
–He points at everything!
–He loves Cheerios. They are his fave. Otherwise he eats everything he can get his hands on.
–Sometimes it sounds like he says “hi”, “roar” like a lion, and “grrrr” like a bear. But it may just be Mommy’s selective hearing. =)
