Freezing weather, Christmas concert, Gingerbread houses, and baby bumps…oh my!

We have been so busy these last couple weeks, I feel like we have barely been home!  I took tons of pictures but just haven’t had any time to look through them and post…so here I go…squeezing several different posts into one jumbo post!  =)

A couple of weeks ago it seemed like the average temp during the day was in the 20’s…baby, it was cold outside!  We didn’t get out much because even all bundled up with a zillion layers, PJ was freezing and complains that her hands hurt.  We headed out to a nearby park and unfortunately the slides and jungle-gym were all iced over…so she got to swing.  We swung and swung and swung…for a whopping 15 minutes before her hands started hurting.  We warmed back up in the car and then drove home to sip on some hot cocoa.  Glad we are finally back up in the 40’s…much more toddler tolerable!

PJ had her Preschool Christmas concert…which was adorable!  She was actually singing along and signing with all of the songs!!

Little cutie and I made a gingerbread house…so much fun!  She actually sat there for almost half an hour working on it!  She did eat about half of the gummies and M&M’s before putting them on the house, bit the top off of the gingerbread tree, and pushed the candies on so hard that the house may not last but a few hours…but she had SO much fun.

And finally…baby boy and I have made it into the 3 trimester!  I hit 28 weeks last week and am officially 29 weeks now!!  Not even 3 months left!  A couple of pics for the few of you requesting a baby bump picture:

We have grown from a family of three to four! I am a full time wife and Mommy, and a part time Registered Nurse in a busy Medical Cardiac ICU. My hubby works at Microsoft...that is what brought us to Seattle. We have the most adorable little girl...born October of 2011. Plus we have a new little bundle of joy in our life, our little prince was born February of 2014. We live in Issaquah, WA, about 20 minutes east of Seattle...though we are true Texans at heart. I am just trying to capture those every day moments so we will have memories to last a lifetime.
