19 Months Old!

Another month down.  I can’t believe it is almost June and I definitely can’t believe PJ is closer to being 2 years rather than 1 year old.  It seems like she turned 1 just a month ago. How did this month go?
–She is talking SO SO much more!  Now she is throwing in some 2-word sentences, yay!  Favorite words this month: ousside, airplane, ice, peas, sits, puff-ba (puff-ball), elbow, ankle, eyes, shoes, boots, socks, shirt, pants, bow, and a bazillion others.
–Favorite foods this month: broccoli  cheese, dried apricots, freeze-dried peas, freeze-dried apples, green smoothies, ketchup, strawberries, pears, kiwi, beans, lentil soup, sweet mini peppers (she munches on these like an apple), and of course…M&Ms.
–Favorite toys: baby stroller and her dolls, play baby bottle and juice cup, outside playhouse, huge stuffed bears, knocking down blocks, and of course scarves.
–She loves to: draw/paint/color, dance dance dance!, sit in her booster seat at the table, dip all of her food into some sort of dip, wipe up spills on the floor (she spots water on the floor and goes crazy until I give her a paper towel to clean it up), play outside (she carries around a bucket to collect things in), ride her tricycle, go on walks, pick puff-balls and dandelions, give fish kisses, and she is really into reading nursery rhymes and action rhymes (she sings “ashes ashes” when she wants to do “ring around the rosie”).
–In the evening time now, she has to be naked!  She comes up to us pulling on her shirt saying “shirt off” until we take it off, then is tugging on the pants “pants off” until we take those off.  She then goes streaking around the house giggling and laughing.
–Her latest obsession is ice.  She always have to have ice.  Thanks for that Nana!  As soon as she can’t hear ice in her cup, she absolutely has to have more…”mama ice, ice ice, ice mama, ice, ice, ice!”  Yeesh kiddo!  Then she will go to her play kitchen and pretend to get ice out of the door of her refrigerator…I love it!

This month has truly been a blast, each month gets better and better.  Some pictures of course!  And yes my child usually has pants on…but this was a “Mama off, off, pants, off, pants off” kind of day…

Taken on Mother's Day...loved that I got to spend it with my Mom!

And here we go...no pants!

Ohhhhh...air...plane!

Ohhhhh…air…plane!

Just collecting some rocks, in my bucket, with no pants on. No biggie.

More leaves, flowers, rocks, sticks, and of course...rocks, and more rocks. Did I mention she loves to collect rocks?

Oh...hi Mom! Just being cute over here, don't mind me!

Love her.

Love her.

Love her love her love her.

Love her love her love her.

Little stinker is ok, first off. She has been having these short spells of staring off and not responding if we touch or talk to her. There are a couple different seizures like that...so our doc wanted to run an EEG just to be sure things looked ok. And so far so good! And she did amazing for the test! The rest of the day, previous night, and night of was a nightmare, but the actual test was great! Ha...had to put her to bed and hour and a half late, and then get her up 3.5 hours early...just so she would be sleep deprived for the test. In the end...she was a champ...she is one tough cookie, she did awesome!

We have grown from a family of three to four! I am a full time wife and Mommy, and a part time Registered Nurse in a busy Medical Cardiac ICU. My hubby works at Microsoft...that is what brought us to Seattle. We have the most adorable little girl...born October of 2011. Plus we have a new little bundle of joy in our life, our little prince was born February of 2014. We live in Issaquah, WA, about 20 minutes east of Seattle...though we are true Texans at heart. I am just trying to capture those every day moments so we will have memories to last a lifetime.
