Another month down. I can’t believe it is almost June and I definitely can’t believe PJ is closer to being 2 years rather than 1 year old. It seems like she turned 1 just a month ago. How did this month go?
–She is talking SO SO much more! Now she is throwing in some 2-word sentences, yay! Favorite words this month: ousside, airplane, ice, peas, sits, puff-ba (puff-ball), elbow, ankle, eyes, shoes, boots, socks, shirt, pants, bow, and a bazillion others.
–Favorite foods this month: broccoli cheese, dried apricots, freeze-dried peas, freeze-dried apples, green smoothies, ketchup, strawberries, pears, kiwi, beans, lentil soup, sweet mini peppers (she munches on these like an apple), and of course…M&Ms.
–Favorite toys: baby stroller and her dolls, play baby bottle and juice cup, outside playhouse, huge stuffed bears, knocking down blocks, and of course scarves.
–She loves to: draw/paint/color, dance dance dance!, sit in her booster seat at the table, dip all of her food into some sort of dip, wipe up spills on the floor (she spots water on the floor and goes crazy until I give her a paper towel to clean it up), play outside (she carries around a bucket to collect things in), ride her tricycle, go on walks, pick puff-balls and dandelions, give fish kisses, and she is really into reading nursery rhymes and action rhymes (she sings “ashes ashes” when she wants to do “ring around the rosie”).
–In the evening time now, she has to be naked! She comes up to us pulling on her shirt saying “shirt off” until we take it off, then is tugging on the pants “pants off” until we take those off. She then goes streaking around the house giggling and laughing.
–Her latest obsession is ice. She always have to have ice. Thanks for that Nana! As soon as she can’t hear ice in her cup, she absolutely has to have more…”mama ice, ice ice, ice mama, ice, ice, ice!” Yeesh kiddo! Then she will go to her play kitchen and pretend to get ice out of the door of her refrigerator…I love it!
This month has truly been a blast, each month gets better and better. Some pictures of course! And yes my child usually has pants on…but this was a “Mama off, off, pants, off, pants off” kind of day…
