how to beat the heat…

So, as many of you know, homes in Seattle don’t have air conditioning.  Hot outside equals hot inside.  Over the past couple days Payton has found a few convenient ways to cool off…

First, she avoids the rooms with direct sunlight.  She HATES the sun in her eyes so she crawled out of her sunny room and found a nice shady spot in the hallway to just relax…

Second…no matter where she is on the main floor, as soon as we open the fridge or freeze she immediately stops what she is doing and makes a bee-line for the fridge…I don’t know why but she loves it!!

The last one is a no-brainer!  A blow-up kiddie pool!  =)

And just some fun in the sun with Aunt Halle…

About JulesJ

We have grown from a family of three to four! I am a full time wife and Mommy, and a part time Registered Nurse in a busy Medical Cardiac ICU. My hubby works at Microsoft...that is what brought us to Seattle. We have the most adorable little girl...born October of 2011. Plus we have a new little bundle of joy in our life, our little prince was born February of 2014. We live in Issaquah, WA, about 20 minutes east of Seattle...though we are true Texans at heart. I am just trying to capture those every day moments so we will have memories to last a lifetime.
